( Eeeek, not for the weak hearted [ a rant] )
I'm really exicted, but I'm afraid that I'm going to cause the team to do not so good, I still have a difficulty understanding the game, as well as trying to eggbeater, my legs just don't want to do it!I feel really intimidated by the coaches and the strictness too! I've never had to be so strict with my body before, not even in swimming. Even though practice is a killer, it's all good since, I'm going to have a kickass body after this, hopefully. Sho motivates me because I want my stomach to look like his[ well I know it won't be that amazing!] so I can show off my belly button ring, that was inspired by him as well XD
( See Sho's belly button ring! )
I know not many of you might know this, but in my state of California 4 fires have already broke out in my region. 2 of them where in a city near me and the smoke was really bad for me and my asthma. There is ashes all over the place, and many people have lost their homes. Two of the four fires are arsen which makes me really, really mad, because they have caused so much suffering to people, hopefully the other two were natural causes[which I highly doubt] and that many people can be able to get up once again. One of our teacher's house burned down :[
I am soo happy!
This is the best thing that could have happened to me this year!
McCain did a good run, but like Obama said we needed change.

The new president of the US XD!
Today is the last day of El Dia de Los Muertos, or like my title says Day of the Dead.
As many of you might know, I am Latina, Salvadorean to be exact, and we celebrate this day to honor those who have passed away onto the other life. We believe that on this day the souls of our loved ones return to Earth for 2 days, November 1st and the 2nd. This is a day where you go to a loved ones grave, fix it all up, make it pretty for them, and finally bring your offering to them.{wether it's flowers, or food!} Drinks are always something to offer the dead, especially beer, some people tend to open a beer for their loved ones and they drink along side them, having a conversation and such things like that. It's very different from many other cultures who tend to mourn their dead, we decide to celebrate their lives, with a huge festival. It's a really fun day.
Don't be intimidate by the skull, it's just a cultural thing for us :]

Oh and by the way here in Sunny California,we are having RAIN! Finally!
Even though it's freeeeeeeeeeeezing cold I'm happy that we are having rain finally. It's good for us.
Although swimming is not going well,I'm happy that today I was able to complete the set without falling behind, and that I was able to lead our lane during the agonizing 200yard set. Coach knows how much I stink at long distance, and still I prevailed!
